Michael hits on one of the most foundational
truths of God: in everything taking place God is working, and not only working,
but working all things for good. AND,
when we see God in all things, all things change.
DAY 286
The Parallel Universe
And we know that God
causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who
are called according to {His} purpose. --Romans 8:28
Sometimes I think
that God must have a parallel universe, because it is so beyond the comprehension of man to think that in
everything taking place He is working, and not only working, but working things
for good! Talk about a willpower of steel. He will not stop until all things have worked together for
good for those who love Him. We can begin to see the world that way, and no matter what happens
ask, “How will this be for good? How can this be for good? Can God do something
good with this?” When
we see God in all things, all things change.
I see so many little ministries; they are the ministries
of the “lesser man” in this great time and have come into being because God is
causing all things for good. We praise Him, we thank Him, and we
rejoice in our God. “Thank You for a will that will not bend until everything
around me is for good!”

Two things jump off the page for me in addition to the clear points
Michael gives us so succinctly.
1. God and His doing is beyond the comprehension of Lost Man, but we can
see with the “eyes” God has given us as Believers…hallelujah! I am grateful for Him giving me His grace to “see.”
2. Knowing what I have, and Unbelievers do not have, makes me ask God to
shine the Gospel Light through to more Unbelievers.
I know two pastor friends whose churches are having Vacation Bible
School this week in their respective churches.
Bro. Jimmy Bevers and the folks at Edge Baptist Church (near
Hearne, Texas). And Bro. Dee Daniels and the folks at 1st
Baptist Church Timpson (Timpson, Texas). Will you join me in praying for the kids and
parents participating in these two VBS outreaches, and pray for those who do
not know the Lord to come to know Him, plus praying that those who do know Him
will come to grow in grace and in the knowledge of their Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ. Blessings!
